Lamoine, Maine

Jane A. Washek, 76, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 after a long illness at Seaport Village Healthcare, Ellsworth, ME. Jane was born July 21, 1940 in Boston, MA. the daughter of John H. and Marie M. (Jenkins) Washek.
She was a graduate of Wayland High School in Wayland, MA. Jane was our family historian, and loved tea parties, gardening, and most of all Maine.

Jane is survived by a niece Kelleigh Lynch and her husband Michael of Upton, MA; three nephews, John Washek and his wife Kelly of Hopkinton, MA, Kevin Washek of Wayland, MA, and Matthew Washek and his wife Marie of Newton, MA; several grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Phillip J. Aube in 2007; and brother John B. Washek.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St, Ellsworth, ME 04605.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Zephrines Catholic Church, 99 Main Street, Wayland, MA.

Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the Beth C. Wright Cancer Center, PO Box 322, Ellsworth, ME 04605.
