Robert B. Fernald

Robert B. Fernald is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; he joined the firm in 1955. In 2000 Bob retired from serving families directly. He currently serves as the treasurer and financial planner for Jordan-Fernald.  He is involved in the following community organizations: the Lions Club, all Masonic Bodies, the Anah Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters, the Somes-Meynell  Wildlife Sanctuary and the Brookside Cemetery Association, both of Mt. Desert.  He attends the Parish of St. Mary and St. Jude Episcopal Church in Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor. Bob enjoys cemetery history and spending time with his family.

Lauri E. Fernald, CSFP

Lauri E. Fernald, CSFP is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; she joined the firm in 1988. She enjoys working with families and assisting them with pre-arrangements. She works with Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County in their volunteer training sessions. Lauri currently serves on the Maine Community Foundation, Hancock County Committee as a member, the board of Woodbine Cemetery Association all of Ellsworth, and of Brookside Cemetery Association on Mt. Desert. She is a member and Treasurer of the Parish of St. Mary and St. Jude Episcopal Church of Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor. She is also on the board of directors at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. Lauri enjoys living near the ocean and spending time with friends.

Ted Guery, Funeral Director

Ted Guery joined the staff at Jordan-Fernald as a Funeral Director in 2016. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia in 1982. Ted came from a third generation family business and has been a licensed Funeral Director in Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and in Maine. He gives back to the community through his involvement as a Mason and a member of the Elks Lodge.
