These prices are effective as of January 1, 2015, but subject to change without notice.

     The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers.  You may choose only the items you desire.  However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for basic services and overhead.  If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services selected.

      Payment in full is required at time of arrangement conference. We accept cash, checks, credit card, or assignment of valid Life Insurance policy.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES – OVERHEAD

 A.  Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff     $1995.00

        Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory, clergy, vault companies and others as required.  Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, taxes, equipment furnishings, inventory costs, record keeping, secretarial and administrative costs.

        This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select.  (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

B. Embalming      $625.00

   Except in certain special cases, law does not require embalming.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

C.  Other Preparation of the Body

      1.  Washing/disinfecting remains when no embalming      $125.00

      2.  Hair Dresser      $45.00

      3.   Dressing/casketing/cosmitizing embalmed remains     $150.00 

      4.  Refrigeration (48 hr. waiting period: state regulation)     $225.00

             Additional $50.00 per day fee after waiting period

SERVICES AND FACILITIES*

TRANSPORTATION AND AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT

      Unless otherwise noted, all transportation charges contained in this General Price List apply to local area only (within 25 mile radius of funeral home).

A.  Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home     $295.00

B.  Use of Hearse for Transportation to Place of Disposition     $300.00

FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME     $2900.00

     This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, embalming, necessary authorizations, local transportation, and minimum shipping container.  This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body, or transportation fee to out-of-area airport.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME     $1445.00

    This charge includes local transfer of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery, and basic services of staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies, or any out-of-area transportation fees.

DIRECT CREMATION     Starting at $2640.00

    The charge for a direct cremation includes removal of remains, local transportation to crematory, necessary authorization, and basic services of staff.  This charge does not include the crematory fee or the use of facilities and staff for visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to cremation.  If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.  Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).  The containers we provide are unfinished wood boxes or fiberboard boxes.

B.  Direct cremation with fiberboard container     $2735.00

IMMEDIATE BURIAL     Starting at $2715.00

      The charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations, and basic services of staff.  This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for public or private visitation or ceremony prior to burial.

A.  Immediate burial with casket provided by purchaser     $2715.00

B.  Immediate burial with casket as selected      $3710.00 to $18,410.00
